Chongqing - The 12th China Road Traffic Security Products Expo & Traffic Police Equipment Exhibition kicked off at the Chongqing International Expo Center on May 12. Some 300 related enterprises and famous companies were displaying their latest technologies, products, and services in the road traffic security sector.

Themed "Technology Makes Traffic More Safe and Smooth" the expo is endorsed by the Ministry of Public Security and Ministry of Commerce under China's cabinet, the State Council, and organized by the Road and Traffic Security Association of China, which lasts from May 12 to 14.

Attending the opening ceremony were officials from the Traffic Administration Bureau, Road and Traffic Security Research Center, and Traffic Management Research Institute under the Ministry of Public Security, the National Road and Traffic Security Products Quality Inspection and Supervision Center, the China Security & Protection Industry Association, The China Security Association, the Traffic, and Patrol Police Detachment under the Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau, as well as representatives from country's various public security and traffic police departments, research institutions, universities, and related enterprises.

This year's expo sets up over 1,700 exhibition booths, covering an area of more than 40,000 square meters, for some 300 related technology enterprises and well-known companies to showcase and display their latest technologies, methods, services, and products in the road and traffic security industry.

The three-day-lasting expo will also see four forums hosted in the meantime, including the 2021 Internet + Road and Traffic Management Innovation Forum, the 2021 Road Traffic Security Technologies Exchange Meeting, a Smart Traffic Innovation and Development Forum, etc. Smart Traffic & Smart Connected Industry Development Forum.

The forums will invite representatives of the country's various public security and road traffic management departments, internationally famous experts, and industry leaders to give keynote speeches on the smart and innovative technological development of the road traffic security industry, share and exchange successful technological applications of road traffic security, and hold dialogues on the future development of a smarter road traffic management system.

Since as early as 2004, the China Road Traffic Security Products Expo has been successfully held for 17 editions, gradually building itself into an international platform for product exhibition, business consultation, technology exchange, publicity, and popularization of the latest developments in the road and traffic security industry.
