Chongqing- The China Wuling Cultural Tourism Summit took place at Fairy Mountain in the Wulong District of Chongqing from May 26 - 28th, 2021. Representatives of national and local government, tourism-related businesses, and overseas diplomats attended the summit to discuss tourism cooperation and integrated development in the Wuling Mountain region.

As the event proceeded, the Consul General of the Consulate General of Malaysia in Kunming, Mr. Faizal Shani, met with iChongqing for an exclusive interview where he discussed his first impressions on the Wuling Mountains, the potential for international tourism, strategies for promoting the region abroad, and the current level of cultural exchange between Malaysia and Southwest China.
