As the Dragon Boat Festival holiday in 2021 fell on Monday, Chongqing has launched various new activities for Dragon Boat Festival Holiday to further integrate business, tourism, culture, and sports, launch promotional activities by connecting theme exhibitions, popular business areas, brand enterprises, popular scenic spots, thus bringing a rich Dragon Boat Festival feast for the public.

The 2021 Chongqing International Auto Exhibition (23rd) is being in Chongqing International Expo Center from June 12 to 20. With an exhibition area of 150,000 square meters, the exhibition will display 110 automobile brands and more than 1,000 models, including the centralized display of various products and technologies such as limousines, popular passenger vehicles, new energy vehicles, commercial vehicles and RVs. Entertainment projects such as cool tech games and immersive interactive scenes will also be organized for the visitors to experience.

The 7th Western China Tourism Industry Expo (WCTIE) and 2021 Chongqing International Culture & Tourism Industry Expo (CICTIE) will be held in Chongqing International Expo Center from June 11 to 14. The 41 districts and counties in Chongqing, nearly 30 provinces, cities and regions, and embassies and consulates in Chengdu and Chongqing as well as tourism promotion agencies from South Korea, Israel, Japan, Italy, Ethiopia and other countries have participated in the event. The event will launch a series of treasure hunting activities. Visitors can also get tens of thousands of tickets, tourism ticket packages, hot spring tickets, cultural and creative goods, special delicacy and other special benefits from hundreds of scenic spots via the WCTIE WeChat mini program.

The first Yuelai International Digital Entertainment Expo & Conference (IDEE) will be held at Chongqing International Expo Center from June 11 to 14, with animation, games, electronic competition and ACGN performance; meanwhile, popular celebrities, ACGN dance competition, and JK, Lolita and Hanfu shows will also be staged.

Wuzhouyuan Scenic Spot, Shengdengshan Town, Banan District will hold activities, such as eating zongzi and fishing competitions. During the activities, visitors wearing Hanfu can enter the site for free.

Anju Ancient Town in Tongliang County will hold the Dragon Boat Festival Dragon Boat Event from June 12 to June 13. The traditional Dragon Boat Festival activities, such as racing boats, grabbing ducks and colorful balls, and appreciating the river view, will be carried out. At the same time, there will be rich folk activities in Anju Ancient Town.
