Chongqing — Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce and Yongchuan District jointly held the 4th China International Import Expo (CIIE) Chongqing Trading Group Investment Roadshow in Yongchuan District, Chongqing on June 17.

The event is closely linked to the Second Yongchuan Import and Export Commodities Fair and open to the public. The leaders of Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce, the People's Government of Yongchuan District, and other relevant units attended the event.

Yongchuan District, where the investment roadshow was held, is located in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, the western part of Chongqing, and the Chongqing metropolitan area. Since ancient times, it has been an important transportation and communication hub for people, logistics, and information in western Chongqing and southeastern Sichuan. This roadshow showcased the grand occasions of previous CIIEs, introduced the basic situation of this CIIE, the method of purchasers’ registration, and organized interactive exchanges between exhibitors and purchasers.

Gong Zhiyong, a member of the Leading Party Group of the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce, attended the event and delivered a speech. He said that the CIIE has built a global procurement and investment promotion platform for various provinces and cities, and the Chongqing  Municipal People's Government attaches great importance to participation in the CIIE.

"Chongqing Trading Group will meticulously plan and organize carefully to do a solid job in the preparation of the 4th CIIE and the procurement and investment promotion work, mobilize enterprises to actively participate and contribute to the success of the 4th CIIE," said Gong Zhiyuan.

What's more, in conjunction with the 2nd Yongchuan Import and Export Commodities Fair, this roadshow not only to learn from the needs of buyers and other professional visitors in advance but also to promote the Expo to the general public.

In the roadshow, there are more than 100 buyers and exhibitors in Chongqing and over a thousand citizens were deeply involved in this grand event, like Chongqing Yangzhangou Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd., Chongqing Zaicuntou Electronic Commerce Co., Ltd., Youxiang Youchuang (Chongqing) Internet Information Service Co., Ltd., etc.
