Chongqing- On June 19, "A Land of Natural Beauty, A City with Cultural Appeal," Chongqing Culture and Tourism Promotion (Xiamen) was held at Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center during the Xiamen International Leisure Tourism Expo. Chongqing underscored "stunning night views," "the Three Gorges," "spicy hotpot," "the most satisfying tourist city," and other culture and tourism highlights, sincerely inviting more people across China to the enthralling urban sprawl.

Qin Dingbo, Deputy Director of Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development, said Xiamen was a beautiful city. It boasts an appealing natural environment and pleasant living environment, and rich cultural heritage. In recent years, Chongqing has been striving to grow into "A Land of Natural Beauty, A City with Cultural Appeal," with the value orientation of "A Tour in Chongqing, A Gain in View." Given that, it is catalyzing the building of a worldwide renowned tourist destination. Thus, the attraction of tourism in Chongqing has already been proved.

Qin also noted that tourists would add brilliance to the city's present splendor. Therefore, Chongqing sincerely welcomes friends all over the world, especially the ones from Xiamen, to see its magic architecture for themselves, be immersed in charming night views, be amazed at the marvelous karst landform and the Three Gorges, have a bath in hot springs, and taste Chongqing's signature, world-famous, spicy hotpot.

Representatives from Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development introduced the city's cultural tourism industry and the city proper's unique cultural tourism resources and itineraries to guests present and promoted the culture and tourism in the northeast and southeast Chongqing, respectively. Chongqing features both profound cultural background and captivating natural scenery: the main urban areas are unique, the Three Gorges in northeast Chongqing are magnificent, and Tu and Miao ethnic groups' cultures that live in the southeast part of the municipality are charming. In response to that, Chongqing displayed all must-go scenic spots during the event.

The promotion was designed to deepen the partnership between Chongqing and Xiamen in tourism, expand the space for collaboration, help the two exchange resources and share markets, and encourage respective residents to visit the other city.
