Electromagnetic radiation

As 5G is gradually being promoted and applied in recent years, the increase in mobile communication base stations has caused residents to worry about electromagnetic radiation from base stations.

Chen Rui, a cadre of the Nuclear Safety Division of the Chongqing Ecology and Environment Bureau, introduced that to improve the environment and protect public health, the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, China Tower, etc. have signed the Communications Memorandum of Base Station Environmental Protection Work in 2017.

"Electromagnetic radiation from 5G base stations is extremely weak, so there is no need to worry about."

Ecological environment

“Implementing the national green culture concept is essential to enhance the quality of the ecological environment at the Yubei district," said Chen Xuejun, deputy director of the Ecology and Environment Bureau of Yubei District. "This is also conducive to consolidating the achievements of the national ecological civilization construction demonstration zone, allowing the people to embark on a green development path featuring production development, affluent life, and good ecology in Yubei."

Taking the clean water and green bank improvement project in the Panxi River and Gailanxi River Basins flowing through Longshan Street as an example, Chen introduced that on the basis of eliminating the pollution of the water body, the two rivers have carried out the improvement of the water environment quality and the improvement of the coastal ecological environment.
