Chongqing to Build a Deep Industrial Internet 5G Ecosystem

Chongqing- Southwest China's Chongqing is building an Industrial Internet development ecosystem. It will accelerate the convergence of industrial hardware, industrial software, industrial network, industrial information security, and other fields. All this and more was revealed during an interview on July 23.

Chongqing serves as one of the six major mature industrial bases in China, with 39 of the 41 industrial categories in the country, and has a broad market for developing the Industrial Internet. Chongqing has become China's first city where the three major functional nodes of "domain name, logo, and blockchain" are integrated.

According to the Chongqing Economic and Information Technology Commission, Chongqing has gathered 197 enterprises in platform services, solutions, big data services, and a large number of key projects such as Geely Industrial Internet Headquarters have been implemented.

Through a visit to the Tencent Cloud (Chongqing) Industrial Internet Base, the product solution matrix of research, production, supply, sales, and service outlines the "future industrial scenes", which can provide enterprises with more than 30 industrial application products such as design research and development, supply chain production and sales collaboration, low-code development, AI artificial intelligence and knowledge graphs, etc.

According to Liu, on the one hand, the base provides enterprises with integrated solutions and technological services for smart manufacturing and helps enterprises to build Industrial Internet platforms. On the other hand, they help enterprises launch through the cloud platform to realize the link and resource sharing of the industrial chain, supply chain, value chain, and capital chain.

Chongqing has guided 87,000 enterprises to launch through the cloud platform and build a number of innovation platforms such as the 5G Industrial Application Joint Innovation Center, promoting the coordinated development of industry, university, research, and application.

It is estimated that by 2025, Chongqing will build 30 Industrial Internet identification analysis secondary nodes, 10 5G fully connected factories, and 50 "5G + Industrial Internet" pilot application demonstration scenarios.
