The 2nd Aurora Music Festival of Wuling Mountain, Great Rift Valley, started on July 17, 2021, and will last for five weeks until August 14. There are a variety of wonderful activities every Saturday. Compared with the first one in 2020, this event has made comprehensive innovation and upgrading in many aspects, including the lineup of performers, the content of activities, and the lighting effect of aurora. Each element is appealing: Internet-famous musicians, local comedy teams, fantastic laser show dance, and a fantasy aurora borealis.

Last year, the Wuling Mountain Great Rift Valley, located at 30 degrees north latitude, provided a stunning visual feast. The rendezvous of the spectacular Northern Lights with the fantastical, mysterious realm attracted a large number of tourists to Wuling Mountain, Fuling District.

The scenic area is a famous summer resort in Chongqing. It is located in Wuling Mountain Township, about 40 kilometers southeast of Fuling District, Chongqing, which has an average altitude of 1,300 meters, with the highest point of 1,980 meters. It is a collection of mountains, forests, springs, caves, waterfalls, cliffs, lakes, ponds, gorges, pits, and cracks with rich tourism resources. In the magnificent five-kilometer great rift valley, there are piles of rare rocks and gurgling streams at the bottom, the natural cliffs stretching for miles like the Great Wall, as well as the marvelous ground cracks and underground rivers.
