Chongqing- In recent years, Chongqing has focused on building itself into an international exchange center in central and western China, continued to strengthen cultural exchanges and tourism cooperation with other countries, and further enhanced the popularity and reputation of the city brand A Land of Natural Beauty, A City with Cultural Appeal. Especially, Chongqing has frequent exchanges and cooperation in culture and tourism with Shanghai Cooperation Organization and its member states, observer states, and dialogue partners.
In May 2019, the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development held the Culture and Tourism Cooperation Promotion Meeting themed with "Beautiful New Silk Road" during the 2019 Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Heads of Region Meeting. During this period, the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development representatives and the heads of the Chongqing Municipal People's Government met with representatives of Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Mongolia, and Belarus. They shared views on how to strengthen the in-depth cooperation and exchanges in culture and tourism.
In August 2020, Qin Dingbo, Deputy Director-general of the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development, met with Sherali Saidamir Jonon, Deputy Secretary-general of SCO, and his party in Chongqing.

In February 2019, Chongqing's culture and tourism delegation partook in the fifth "Happy Chinese New Year" in St. Petersburg, Russia, promoting Chongqing's tourism image of "A Land of Natural Beauty, A City with Cultural Appeal."
In March 2019, Chongqing's culture and tourism delegation attended the 2019 Moscow International Travel Fair (Intourmarket-2019) in Moscow, Russia.
In August 2020, the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development was invited to attend a video conference themed with "Moscow and Chinese Partners: Tourism Cooperation." Discussions were held on the bilateral cooperation in international tourism after the COVID-19 pandemic.
In April 2021, the Chongqing Acrobatic Art Troupe was invited to participate in the second Online International Circus Festival in Russia.

In November 2019, the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development assisted the film crew of the Atameken Business Television Station of Kazakhstan to shoot and produce the TV documentary China Today in Chongqing.
In May 2019, the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development signed a memorandum of understanding for strategic cooperation with Uzbekistan.
In November 2019, the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development supported the Indian Embassy in China to host a tourism roadshow in Chongqing.
In March 2021, Deputy Director-general Qin Dingbo met with Tajikistan's Ambassador to China, Saidzoda Zohir, and his party in Chongqing.
In November 2018, the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development signed a memorandum of understanding for strategic cooperation with the Minsk Regional Executive Committee of Belarus, the Belarusian Tourism and Cultural Commodity Center was inaugurated in Chongqing.
In December 2018, the Chongqing delegation paid a visit to Belarus. They attended the closing ceremony of the China-Belarus Year of Tourism 2018 and set up the Chongqing Culture and Tourism Promotion Center in Minsk.
In August 2019, the Chongqing Yubei People's Government signed an investment cooperation agreement with the Minsk Regional Executive Committee, marking the official launch of the Chongqing Belarusian-style town project in Yubei.
In October 2019, the first Chongqing hot pot image experience store in Minsk opened to promote Chongqing's hot pot culture.

In March 2019, Deputy Director-general Liu Xiaonian was invited to attend and address China (Chongqing)-Belarus (Minsk) Business Forum.
In July 2019, a delegation from the Chongqing Ballet Theater paid a visit to Belarus. They attended the performance of celebrating Russia Day and the 75th anniversary of the victory of the Anti-Fascist War.
In January 2021, during the official opening of the Belarusian Consulate General in Chongqing, Chongqing Broadcasting Group signed an agreement on friendly exchanges and cooperation with Belarus. The two places worked together to host the Chongqing · Minsk TV Week.

In January 2019, Chongqing's culture and tourism delegation attended the China-Cambodia cultural and tourism exchanges in Cambodia.
