Bilateral Exchange

Representatives from the Kyrgyz Republic visited Chongqing in October 2016 to participate in ‘The CPC in Dialogue with the World 2016.’

In May 2019, representatives from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic and diplomatic missions in China arrived in Chongqing to attend the 2019 Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Heads of Region Meeting.

Muratbek Imanaliev, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, came to Chongqing in December 2019 to attend the Third Conference of the CICA Non-Governmental Forum.

Economic and Trade Cooperation

Imports and exports between Chongqing and Kyrgyzstan totaled 5.131 million yuan in 2020, while figures posted for the two parties between January - May 2021 stand at 2.734 million yuan.
