Chongqing — As an important venue of the China-SCO Forum on the Digital Economy Industry and 2021 Smart China Expo, Chongqing International Expo Center has been selected as one of the top 12 worldwide for the 2021 Digital Innovation Award organized by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry. It's the home of many "China firsts" realized by intelligent means.

The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry is the most representative and authoritative international exhibition industry association globally, and its Digital Innovation Award has been held ten times since 2011. This year, Chongqing International Expo Center and Shenzhen International Expo Center came to the fore from 32 well-known exhibition enterprises in 14 countries and won the award as Chinese pavilions.

A number of "China firsts" achieved by intelligent means in the Center are important reasons for this award. For example, the first virtual venue twins in China, created by the center, uses virtual reality technology to present a panoramic view of the entire pavilion and the surrounding supporting panorama, traffic, plaza, login hall, venues, commercial corridors, loading lanes, parking lots, etc., allowing major organizers to examine the venues and plan their exhibitions through the online platform at any time.

Another example is the first online conference live broadcast in China, operated by the Center last year, innovatively applying augmented reality technology to turn the 3^rd China Convention and Exhibition Innovators Conference into a program with the specifications of a live TV broadcast, realizing online dialogues among five places: Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Taiwan, and Chongqing, with a total of 9.5 million viewers.

The relevant person in charge of Yuelai Investment Group CO., Ltd. introduced that the Center greatly overcame the impact of the epidemic with intelligent means. Therefore, the Center undertook five exhibitions of 50,000 square meters and above in the first half of the year, driving the exhibition area of Yuelai Convention and Exhibition Park reaching 690,000 square meters, an increase of 7.57 times year-on-year.
