It was known from Smart Roadshow Online Press Center (the official press center of the Smart China Expo) that the car was provided by a local automobile company of Chongqing named SERES. During the event, they provided travel services for more than 400 journalists and guests.

“The Smart China Expo is permanently settled in Chongqing. As a local vehicle enterprise, we are willing to contribute our own strength and hope to show our intelligent manufacturing achievements to more people at the world-renowned event," The person in charge of SERES introduced that the "SERES Huawei Smart SF5" was not only responsible for transporting the exhibitors but also had a number of intelligent technologies itself.

Supported by the HUAWEI HiCar all-scene intelligent connectivity system, car owners could not only use navigation, music, phone calls, voice interaction, and other functions, but also they could achieve one-key control of the smart devices in their home by switching “Away from home mode” or “home mode.”

For safe driving, the car was equipped with an L2+ level SERES Pilot safe driving intelligent assistance system with 16 ultra-high intelligent perception hardware, including one high perception camera, three-millimeter wave radar, four surround-view cameras, and eight ultrasonic radar.

In addition to the vehicle itself, the birthplace of the vehicle is also fully intelligent. More than 1000 robots work together in the SERES Liangjiang Smart Factory, realizing 100% automation of key processes and 24-hour online monitoring.

"Since 2019, SERES has been actively participating in the Smart China Expo every year, showing some smart technologies and the latest products to the exhibitors," The person in charge said.

As one of the brand events of the Smart China Expo, i-VISTA Autonomous Vehicle Grand Challenge has been successfully held four times. The team formed by SERES won the Grand Prize and the First Prize in the "Strongest Car Brain Challenge," and the team won the Grand Prize and the Excellence Award in the Commercialization Challenge.
