Chongqing- Sichuan Province and Chongqing Municipality in southwestern China signed a cooperation agreement on the collaborative development of big data. They strive to achieve 115 inter-provincial affairs by the end of the year press conference held on August 27.

At the conference on the collaborative development of big data in the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle, both sides signed a "1+9" agreement. In particular, "1" refers to the Memorandum of Cooperation on Deepening the Collaborative Development of Big Data in Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle signed by Chongqing Big Data Application and Development Administration Bureau and Sichuan Provincial Big Data Center.

According to the agreement, the two sides will cooperate in 9 key areas, including digital infrastructure, government data sharing, innovative application of credit data, big data legislation, big data standardization system construction, Internet plus the regulation, and digital economy development.

In terms of digital infrastructure, for example, the two sides will accelerate the construction of Chengdu-Chongqing national hub node on the national integrated computing power network, explore the construction of internal high-speed data transmission network, and jointly build, share and use China-Singapore (Chongqing) International Dedicated Connectivity, and explore the possible landing of China-Singapore (Chongqing) International Dedicated Connectivity in Sichuan.

Additionally, Sichuan and Chongqing will promote big data legislation and set up regional data cooperation clauses in local legislation. The Standards for Identification and Coding of Public Information Resources in Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle and The Standards for Regional Supervision Data Dictionary of Live  Big Data will be compiled to promote mutual recognition and interoperability of Sichuan-Chongqing big data standard systems.

Meanwhile, the city, trade unions, state-owned enterprises in Sichuan and Chongqing also signed the coordinated development of 9 big data cooperation agreements.

This involves the Cooperation Agreement on Big Data Industry Innovation and Development in Integrated Development Pilot Zone of Southern Sichuan and Western Chongqing signed by Luzhou, Zigong, Neijiang and Yibin Cities of Sichuan Province and Yongchuan, Jiangjin and Rongchang Districts of Chongqing, and Deepening Strategic Cooperation Agreement between Sichuan Development Big Data Company and Digital Chongqing Company signed by Sichuan Development Big Data Company and Digital Chongqing Company.

Furthermore, Yongchuan, Jiangjin, Rongchang, Zigong, Luzhou, Neijiang, and Yibin will rely on the Big data Industry Alliance of southern Sichuan and western Chongqing to promote high-quality development of the big data industry in southern Sichuan and western Chongqing, focusing on talent co-education, platform co-construction, resource sharing, and industrial integration.
