With the theme of “Chengdu-Chongqing Strategic Node, Smart Cultural and Tourism New City,” Dazu District of Chongqing showcased its smart achievements in four categories, including “Digital and Smart Technologies Empowering and Benefiting Hardware Industry,” “Innovation-driven Multi-chain Development,” “Smart City Featuring Concentrated Development,” and “Smart Applications Serving Development.” during the Smart China Expo 2021 last month.

In the area of “Digital and Smart Technologies Empowering and Benefiting Hardware Industry,” Dazu displayed its hardware industry Internet platforms via multimedia. In the area of “Innovation-driven Multi-chain Development,” the district showcased its high and new technologies by exhibiting such platforms and products as 5G digital workshops, high-precision intelligent sensing devices, GaN-on-Si epitaxial wafers, glass panels for intelligent devices, laptop shells in laser surface texture, intelligent shared factories, intelligent elevator IoT platforms, as well as pipeline robots, intelligent sanitation vehicles, firefighting drones, etc. The district also showed the construction situation of “One Cloud Platform, Two Middle Platforms” of the new smart city in the area of “Smart City Featuring Concentrated Development.” Besides, in the area of “Smart Applications Serving Development,” Dazu displayed multiple contents together, such as smart culture and sports, smart tourism, smart education, smart urban management, smart transportation, smart housing, and urban-rural development, smart parking, smart civil administration, etc.

According to the introduction, “One Cloud Platform, Two Middle Platforms” owns the smart city's basic computing, storage, and network transmission capabilities. In the next five years, they can meet the needs in the three aspects of its information-based and digital development.
