Blockchain Application Innovation Contest will be officially launched at the 2021 Smart Expo Blockchain Forum on September 16, where it brings together industrial resources and focuses on proven and valuable blockchain applications.
Meanwhile, the contest will be combined with Xinghuo · Blockchain Network competition to make the platform rich in its forms.
In April 2020, under the approval of the Chongqing Big Data Application and Development Administration, the Chongqing Blockchain Digital Economic Industrial Park, as the upgraded base, also serves as the only comprehensive industrial software industrial park Chongqing.

It has now been included in the first batch of five key industrial parks in the city, said Luo Lin, deputy director of the park administrative committee.
Up to now, the park has gathered more than 200 medium and large enterprises, including IBM, Inspur group, Chongqing Qulian Digital Technology Co., Ltd, Humi Network Aleps, KylinSoft, UnionTech Software Technology Co., Ltd., and so on.
Statistics show that the Chongqing Blockchain Digital Economy Industrial Park contains more than 1,500 enterprises related to big data intelligence, with over 60% of technology-based enterprises. The total output value of the park was 30 billion yuan in 2020, and the digital economy accounts for 16 billion yuan.
Before opening the 2021 Smart Expo Blockchain Summit Forum, relevant blockchain enterprises in Chongqing have introduced their plans and actual implementations.
Tang Ruizong, deputy general manager of Chongqing Qulian Digital Technology Co., Ltd, said that the company cooperated with Chongqing Academy of Science and Technology (CAST) to jointly establish the Chongqing Advanced Blockchain Research Institute and released the Chongqing Blockchain Open Service Platform.
Through the Chongqing Blockchain Open Service Platform, Chongqing Qulian Digital Technology Co., Ltd has released a series of blockchain application scenarios such as the Provident Fund Data Sharing Chain and Xinmeng Chain, in collaboration with Chongqing Municipal Housing Provident Fund Administration Center, CCB Fintech, and other enterprises and other partners.
Under the guidance of Yuzhong People’s District Government, in April 2020, Chongqing Inspur Cloud Chain Information Technology took the lead in establishing the first provincial-level blockchain application innovation industry alliance and released the first provincial blockchain public service platform called "Yukuai Chain" at the launch conference, said Liu Ning, deputy general manager of Chongqing Inspur Cloud Chain Information Technology.

According to Li Xiangyu, general manager of the IBM Blockchain Joint Innovation Lab, the Chongqing Innovation Base of Blockchain Industry was established in November 2017. The Chongqing Municipal Blockchain Digital Economic Industrial Park was settled in Yuzhong in June 2020.
Through the digital online innovation platform of the Yuzhong District and the offline one-on-one guidance from IBM experts, the Chongqing Municipal Blockchain Digital Economic Industrial Park has successfully helped 13 enterprises upgrade their underlying technology of the blockchain.
