Chongqing- The 2021 Digital Ecosystem Overseas Returnees Science and Technology Innovation Summit Forum with the theme of "Intelligent Collaboration and Data Chain Ecology" kicked off in Chongqing.

Focusing on digital ecological innovation and digital economy, the Summit Forum invited Zhang Jingzhong, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Zhang Liren, academician of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering, domestic and foreign industry leaders, and overseas returnees.

They conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as basic discipline research, tackling difficulties of original new technologies, big data intelligence, digital application, and ecological development, to predict the future development of big data intelligence, understand the new trend of digital integration, and create a new benchmark for digital ecological development.

Academician Zhang Jingzhong delivered a keynote speech on "Artificial Intelligence and Education Mathematics" during the expert forum. He stated that the study of basic theory was so important. Basic mathematical theory is the foundation, and artificial intelligence has a long way to go. Academician Zhang Liren shared his speech with the "Combination of Artificial Intelligence Technology and Modern Industry" theme through the online platform.

The Chongqing Western Returned Scholars Association Overseas Returnees Science and Technology Innovation Base was unveiled at the forum. It is reported that the base will serve as a "window" for local cooperation, integrate the unique advantages of innovative talents and innovative resources of Chongqing Western Returned Scholars Association with Fuling's strong industrial foundation, build an innovation and entrepreneurship platform for overseas students, provide assistance for the contribution of returnees to local economic development, empower industrial development with scientific and technological innovation, and boost the high-quality economic and social development of Fuling.

In addition, at this forum, the China Pickles Index Platform was officially launched. The platform, relying on big data intelligent technology, makes a multi-dimensional analysis of the ten indexes of pickle industry in five links: ecological development, benefiting farmers and increasing income, industrial energy accumulation, product sales, and brand public opinion. It reflects the real-time situation of the whole industry chain of pickles from planting, production to sales and communication, establishes an online management platform covering the entire industry chain of pickles, and promotes the high-quality development of the pickle industry in Fuling District and even the whole country.
