Chongqing- Chongqing, and Singapore signed 37 projects with a total value of 4.166 billion US dollars at the Chongqing Investment Promotion Event for Singapore Businesses on October 12.

Specifically, among the contracted projects, there are 29 commercial cooperation projects, with a value of 3.206 billion US dollars, as well as eight financing projects, with a value of 960 million US dollars.

The 29 commercial cooperation projects involve eight urban development projects worth a contract value of 333 million US dollars and five financial projects worth a contract value of 2.359 billion US dollars.

Others include three projects in the field of logistics, as well as four projects in the field of information and communication with a contract value of 310 million US dollars.

Xiantao International Big Data Valley serves as a bridge for cooperation between Chinese and Singaporean enterprises and is a good example in the field of information and communication. It's located in the Yubei District of Chongqing, which has turned into a highland of software information service industry opening to the world and a paradise for entrepreneurs and innovators.

Since July 2019, the Big Data Valley officially started to develop an information and communication cooperation demonstration site of the CCI.

"So far, the site leveraged the strengths of the enterprises in the Valley and have thus played a good demonstration role in China-Singapore cooperation," said a relevant person in charge from the Big Data Valley.

Additionally, there are nine projects in other fields such as education and training, cultural tourism, medical and health care, agriculture, commerce, and trade services, with a contract value of 204 million US dollars.

Meanwhile, the event also saw the unveiling of the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity (CCI) Project Operation Center.

Four special matchmaking sessions were held, including the China-Singapore Cross-border Financing Forum, China-Singapore (Chongqing) Transportation Logistics and Aviation Industry Project Matchmaking, China-Singapore (Chongqing) Information and Communication Convergence Development Workshop, and Yuzhong District Special Matchmaking Conference of Visit of Singaporean Well-known Enterprises in China to Chongqing.
