Chongqing- Yuzhong District in downtown Chongqing adheres to the idea of internationalization, fashion, and specialization, and is committed to building a first-class landmark business district, said Deng Guanghuai, deputy chief of Yuzhong District at the Second Jiefangbei International Consumption Carnival opened in Chongqing on October 29.

Deng continued, Yuzhong District will continue to promote in-depth cooperation with well-known brands at home and abroad to further meet consumers' high-end, personalized, and diversified consumer needs.

World-renowned business district

Jiefangbei CBD administrative committee and Orchard International Holdings Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation framework agreement during the event.

The two sides will continue to deepen cooperation around activating the vitality of Chongqing's business district and building a world-renowned business district in the Jiefangbei-Chaotianmen area.

According to the cooperation agreement, the two sides will strengthen cooperation in five areas, including decision-making and consulting, brand attraction, operation and management, urban renewal, and investment and trade.

Injected quality resources

Newly attracted brands have injected more quality resources into the Jiefangbei-Chaotianmen business district.

Data from the Yuzhong District Government show that Yuzhong District has accelerated the construction of a core district of an international consumer center city in recent years.

Specifically, Yuzhong District has developed two business districts at 10 billion yuan level in Jiefangbei and Daping, which have gathered more than 260 internationally renowned brands, making the commerce income account for more than 20% of the district's GDP and contributing 15% of Chongqing's total merchandise sales and 12% of total retail sales of consumer goods.
