Chongqing–On December 1, iChongqing reporter was informed from the "Macao Week in Chongqing 2021 Press Conference" , that in order to further promote the exchanges and cooperation between Chongqing and Macao, the “Macao Week in Chongqing” roadshow will liven up the Jiefangbei Square at Yuzhong District in Chongqing from 2 to 6 December.

"Macao Week" is a brand promotion event initiated by Macao Government. It has been successfully held in Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shanghai and Sichuan since this year, Chongqing is the last stop. A wide variety of promotion activities such as Exhibition Road, Tourism Promotion Conferences, Macao Tourism Exhibitions, Cultural and Artistic Exchanges, and Food Promotion are rolled out in Chongqing.

As the Director of Macao Government Tourism Office, Wen Qihua, introduced, the opening ceremony of "Macao Week in Chongqing" will be held on the afternoon of December 3. At the same time, daily performances such as singing, dragon performances, pop dance will take turns in three main stage areas: Fantasy Neighborhoods, Magic Parks, and Vibrant Markets. An array of physical promotions across Chongqing will follow the roadshow opening. Among which, the Exploring Macao’ Secret Tour will be presented in the theme of urban architecture, conveying the general situation of Macao, Macao cuisine, and annual festival events.

During Macao Week in Chongqing, "Macao Tourism Promotion Conference", "Chongqing Macao and Portuguese-Speaking Countries Exhibition Trade and Investment Promotion Conference", "Chongqing Macao Week-Discover Macao" and so on will also be held to foster the tourism and economic in Macao and strength cooperation between two sides.

It is worth noting that this event prepared more than RMB-100-million special travel offers on air tickets, accommodation, dining and so on, which will be sold on site or online platforms.
