Chongqing- Chongqing Central Park is the fourth city Central Park globally after New York Central Park, London Hyde Park, and Shanghai Pudong Century Park. It is also the largest open park in China's western cities. The commercial facilities surrounding Chongqing Central Park, namely the Chongqing Liangjiang International Business Center, have attracted public attention. As the new year approaches, the opening carnivals of the malls are about to excite the whole city.
On December 25, Chongqing Yubei Wuyue Plaza opened, and it became the first commercial project in Chongqing Liangjiang International Business Center to welcome customers. Wuyue Plaza, operated by Seazen, covers an area of 124,000 square meters of businesses and has 3,000 parking spaces. This is an Art Park, targeting to build a brand new commercial space for the young generation.
In addition to Wuyue Plaza, Central Park ParadiseWalk and JoyCity open in sequence before 2022. Longfor's Central Park ParadiseWalk reaches 600,000 square meters, consists of the shopping center, business block, SOHO&LOFT, and office buildings. JoyCity, operated by COFCO (China Oil And Foodstuffs Corporation), consists of seven floors above ground and four floors underground. The commercial area is about 180,000 square meters. It is also a complex with a themed shopping center, LOFT, and high-end offices.
Located between the airport and the EXPO Center, Chongqing Liangjiang International Business Center is currently the country's largest TOD business project. The planning construction area is about 4.2 million square meters, of which the above-ground construction area is about 2.9 million square meters, and the underground construction area is about 1.3 million square meters. With the 'world-leading, domestic first-class' standard, this business center is designed to accelerate the establishment of a new world-renowned business circle based in Chongqing.
Six months ago, on July 19, the Ministry of Commerce announced that Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Tianjin, and Chongqing were finally selected as the international consumption center cities. It is no surprise that Chongqing emerged from more than 20 candidates. In 2020, Chongqing's total retail sales of consumer goods reached 1.178 trillion yuan, ranking third in China after Shanghai and Beijing. Building an international consumption center city is also part of the 14th Five-Year Plan and 2035 Vision Proposal for Chongqing. The Chongqing Liangjiang International Business Center will bring more advantages to the district and the city and further enhance Chongqing's business competitiveness.
