Chongqing- Downtown Chongqing has built a 10-minute service circle for nucleic acid testing in Yuzhong District and Liangjiang New Area to meet the citizens' needs, according to a report from Chongqing Daily, on March 20.

At about 3 pm that day, the reporter saw more than ten citizens lining up for testing at a 1-meter distance at the nucleic acid testing site of the Qixinggang Sub-street Community Health Service Center.  

The testing site can provide nucleic acid testing service from 8:30-12:00 and 14:00-18:00 from Monday to Friday, and from 8:30-12:00 and 14:00-17:30 on Saturday and Sunday.

The digital health code and itinerary code in green will require before the test. After paying the nucleic acid test fee, the testing will be finished as soon as possible.

Officials of the Yuzhong District Health Commission said 20 normal testing sites could be found in the Yuzhong district, including seven municipal-level hospitals. Others are district-level hospitals and community health service centers, such as the Qixinggang Sub-street Community Health Service Center.

Four of these sites provide 24-hour service: the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, Chongqing Emergency Medical Center, and Chongqing Chinese Medicine Orthopaedic Hospital, with a daily testing capacity of more than 60,000 samples, officials added.

At present, each of the 11 sub-streets in the Yuzhong District downtown Chongqing has at least one testing site. Citizens can get testing service within a 10-minute walk from their homes.

Besides, more than 50 nucleic acid testing sites have been set up in Liangjiang New Area, including hospitals, community health service centers, business districts, parks, and office buildings. For example, Chongqing North Railway Station, coach station, etc. Those sites have primarily met the requirement of a 10-minute service circle for nucleic acid testing. 

The railway station is the key spot for epidemic prevention and control. Liangjiang New Area has added several nucleic acid testing sites in the Chongqing North Railway Station, including the entrance of the north square, the exit on the negative first floor, the south square, and the adjacent coach station, which is convenient for passengers to carry out the nucleic acid testing.

Some hospitals located in Liangjiang New Area also provide 24-hour nucleic acid testing services to meet the needs of citizens. At present, the average daily nucleic acid test capacity in Liangjiang New Area has reached 40,000.
