Chongqing- The 7th Chongqing Cultural Tourism Consumer-Benefit Season (Spring and Summer) ceremony was held in Tongliang District on April 22. More than 40 preferential measures and hundreds of spring travel routes were announced at the ceremony.

With the theme of "Slow Life in the City, (a) New Experience in the Countryside," the spring-summer tourism activity focuses on road trips, rural camping, urban performing, and hot springs and will last from April to September.

At the launching ceremony, the main stage combined with a role-play performance to introduce beautiful scenic spots for rural tourism in Chongqing, outdoor tourism equipment, road trip camp, and boutique B&B. As an important part of the event, the cultural tourism bazaar set up an outdoor equipment area, a camping and leisure area, a tent food area, and an intangible cultural heritage township collection area. While the cultural tourism companies carefully prepared trailers, camping picnics, starlight tents, outdoor movies, and folk music concerts. The ceremony offered citizens and tourists an opportunity to have the fun of eating, drinking, playing, enjoying music, and shopping.

More than 40 preferential measures and hundreds of spring and summer travel routes were announced at the ceremony. More than 2000 cultural and tourism businesses will participate in the activity. Districts and counties also launched hundreds of theme tourism routes according to their own characteristics.

There will also be rich cultural and tourism activities and 14 special themed activities. Here are some examples.

Camping Culture Festival

The 2022 Chongqing Camping Culture Festival will last from May to June. The activity will be held in districts and counties, including Fengdu County, Wulong District, and Wuxi County. The activity focuses on promoting the trendy vacation style of camping and the display of camping products and boutique tourism routes.

Hot Spring Healthcare Activity

Chongqing has the world’s top hot springs and geothermal resources and has been named the "World Capital of Hot Springs" it is very common for Chongqing people to enjoy hot springs to break from their busy lives. The Hot Spring Healthcare Activity advocates the theme of "soaking in slow urban life, soaking in hot spring in summer." For couples, families, teams, and other different needs, different choices of "hot spring + special meals," "hot spring + outdoor outing," "hot spring + parent-child study," "hot spring + home party construction," and other packages of preferential products will be offered from April to September.
