2022 Physical Fitness Activities For Children and Teenagers Lunched In Chongqing

Chongqing- On May 31, the 2022 "Keep Running" Physical Fitness Activities For Children and Teenagers, hosted by the Youth Department of the General Administration of Sports, were launched.

The main national venues were set in Chongqing and Hubei Province. At the launching ceremony, Olympic champion Li Xuerui launched a fitness initiative in Chongqing, saying, "Life lies in sports, and sports make life full of vitality and hope. We must take action, go outdoors, and embrace the sunshine. Let's develop good exercise habits, release energy, and chase your dreams on the playground!"

The activity aims to comprehensively promote the integration of sports and education and encourage children and teenagers to participate in fitness activities and improve their physical fitness. In addition, it will provide convenient, diversified, and low-threshold sports services for youth and their parents and expand the coverage and participation of youth sports services. At the same time, the regional characteristics and local culture are integrated into the local activities to provide a unique, rich and diverse activity system.

The activities run from May 31 to June 30. Interest and fun attract children to participate in physical activities. They can have a pleasurable emotional experience by doing sports. During this event, a series of activities will be carried out, including sports activities in primary and middle schools, outdoor sports activities in kindergartens, mini tennis tournaments, archery and basketball lessons in schools, gymnastics for young children, and other colorful online and offline activities.

Zhong Nanshan, Yao Ming, Wu Dajing, Wu Jing, and more than 50 academicians, sports champions, and movie stars also sent video messages to encourage children and teenagers to participate in sports activities actively and improve physical fitness.
