Chongqing- On June 8, Chongqing held the national top-level node (Chongqing) milestone achievement conference of Industrial Internet identity resolution in Liangjiang New Area. The Xinghuo Blockchain Infrastructure and Facility (Xinghuo BIF) (Chongqing) and the F-root mirror node of the national top-level node (Chongqing) Internet domain name were released at the conference. It means that Chongqing’s top-level node has the capabilities of Industrial Internet identity resolution, blockchain, and domain name services, which will further empower Chongqing’s industrial development and attract more enterprises to the city.
Xinghuo BIF is China’s national scale blockchain infrastructure, and it aims to promote digital transformation in the country and add value to digital assets in the future by integrating blockchain, Industrial Internet, Internet of Things and building backbone and supernodes across the nation for safe, secure, and efficient data transfer and integration.
China’s first Industrial Internet supernode project is built on the top-level node in Chongqing and has blockchain service capability. In the process of industrial digital transformation and the development of the digital economy, the identity resolution ability of Chongqing’s top nodes solves the problem of identity and putting data on the blockchain, which is the key to the formation of digital production relations in the Industrial Internet.
Relying on Xinghuo BIF (Chongqing), enterprise data from upstream to downstream will be opened up, greatly enhancing information sharing of enterprise ecology and mutual trust among industrial enterprises. At the same time, it will provide solutions to obstacles in production collaboration, industrial safety, information sharing, resource integration, flexible supervision, etc.
“From the perspective of the identity resolution, compared to the international traditional Automatic Identification and Data Collection (AIDC) technology only put a value on the static data. In contrast, China attaches exclusive emphasis to constructing an identity resolution system, which can get real-time and dynamic data products. The system will greatly expand the identity resolution application range and satisfy consumers’ real-time demand for product traceability. The system is the largest exploration in the field of identification analysis and plays an advanced and leading role in the world,” said Li Haihua, Deputy Director of Institute of Industrial Internet & Internet of Things (IoT), China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT).
She also expressed that international cross-border trade enterprises have shown great interest in the identity resolution system. And she extended a welcome for enterprises with cross-border business to participate in the construction of an Industrial Internet identity resolution system.
The mirror node launched this time is the first Internet domain name F-root mirror server deployed in Southwest China, which will reduce cross-border resolution requests of top-level nodes in Chongqing and improve the security of the domain name. At the same time, it will help stimulate the construction and development of Chongqing’s export-oriented industries, enable Chongqing to participate in the development and governance of the Internet deeply, and promote opening up.
Li Qiqi, Director of the National Top-level Nodes of Identification and Resolution Operation Center of CAICT, introduced the launch of supernodes and mirror nodes, marking that Chongqing has become one of the most complete Industrial Internet infrastructure areas in China. The low-latency, high-bandwidth identity resolution, blockchain, and domain name services will become Chongqing’s unique attraction advantage for domestic and foreign enterprises to land in Chongqing.
“Chongqing has a solid foundation for cross-border trade. It has China-Europe Railway Express and The China-Singapore (Chongqing) International Dedicated Connectivity (IDC), and the connectivity between the top-level node and international identification root nodes such as Handle and GS1 will boost Chongqing’s global digital cross-border trade services in the future,” Li Haihua said.
