Chongqing- The 1st China (Chongqing) International Consumer Festival will kick off in downtown Chongqing at 8 PM on June 15 and run until June 30, according to the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce Tuesday.
The festival will link each business district with thousands of well-known brands. The festival hosts will organize a series of theme activities, including a matchmaking meeting, an international fashion release, an international fashion show, the first stop of Tiktok’s Moving City, and more than 200 promotions for global fashion consumption.
On June 16, the event organizers will hold a matchmaking meeting on key projects to cultivate and build an international consumption center in Guanyinqiao, Chongqing 18 Steps, Chongqing Times Center, Ciqikou Back Street, and other 32 featured consumption carrier projects will pair up with 100 international and domestic well-known brands such as Arcteryx, IRO, Laurel, and Shiseido.
At the meeting, the winners list five scenarios: high-quality shopping experience scene of 2022 Chongqing, featured catering scene, leisure scene integrating business, tourism, and culture, innovation scene of a good life, and consumption scene most worthy of expectation will also be released.
At 20:00 on June 16, the organizers will hold the launching ceremony of the 1st China (Chongqing) International Consumer Festival at Guanyinqiao. Citizens could enjoy fashion shows offered by Arcteryx and IRO Paris.
As oil prices continue to rise, Sinopec will issue consumption coupons worth 10 million yuan (about 1.5 million U.S. dollars) in gas stations and its WeChat mini program. In addition, sizeable commercial complexes like Longfor Beicheng Paradise Walk, Chongqing International Finance Square, Chongqing Sky, Chongqing Starlight 68, and Raffles City Chongqing will also carry out themed promotional activities.
Chongqing has developed more scenarios as an international consumption center city. An official from the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce said that the festival is committed to creating comprehensive scenarios that integrate Chongqing’s flavor with international style to bring consumers welfare in eating, playing, traveling, shopping, and entertainment, which will help Chongqing to cultivate and build an international consumption center city.
