The Youth International Community, where the theatre is located, is a typical urban renewal project promoted by Jiangbei District. It used to be the residential area of the old Changan factory, but now it has been revived through urban renewal based on retaining the original buildings. Introducing fashionable shops and holding night markets improve the basic supporting facilities of old communities and promote spiritual entertainment consumption and flexible employment.

There are more than 30 shops in the community; the leaders are the "villagers" here, most of whom are young entrepreneurs. There are not only common consumption places such as catering and board games, but also aesthetic spaces such as exhibitions, sand paintings, and music salons. "My store is not only a dining place but a multi-functional future space complex." Mr. Qi, the store manager, said that he does not compete with other stores in this "village" but to jointly build a multicultural, trendy cultural, and creative community.

"The construction of the Cooperative Village started in March last year and officially opened to the public in March 2022. It has successfully created a trendy cultural and creative community that conveys diverse cultures and young lifestyles," said Wu Chupeng, the executive head of Cooperative Village.
