Chongqing- Mario Cavolo, the Founder and CEO of M Communications Group media communications agency, is a China-based Italian-American writer and communications specialist. Living in China for 23 years, he published several books on China: Something's Not Right Here Folks, and China: The Big Lie? The Truth of Trillions in a Culture of Cash.

Mario is a member of Huawei's Global Thought Leadership team. He is also a regular media contributor, commentator, and documentary host for CCTV. He even acted in some Chinese TV series, such as  Crossing the Yalu River and Lala's Shining Days.

Chongqing was Mario Cavolo's first city in China to visit over two decades ago (He is now based in Shenyang, Liaoning Province). Mario returned after two decades to visit various destinations within the municipality. In this exclusive interview, we ask Mario about the changes he has experienced in Chongqing. This interview occurred after he saw the International Land-Sea Trade Corridor (ILSTC) project in Chongqing.
