Fairy Mountain Treetop Walk | Alex in the City

Chongqing Fairy Mountain Treetop Walk, 160 km from the central city of Chongqing, is located in Wulong District, within the World Natural Heritage and AAAAA National Scenic Area Fairy Mountain National Forest Park.

The idea of the Treetop Walk originated in Europe in the middle of the Bavarian mountain forest at the Nationalparkzentrum Lusen near Neuschönau, providing unique views and experiences.

With an overall length of 1,300 meters and a height of 8 to 25 meters, the Treetop Walk meanders through the beech trees, firs, and spruces of the mixed mountain forest, past numerous learning and activity stations. The walkway and observation tower are designed to be accessible and family-friendly. A maximum gradient of 6 % allows access with a wheelchair or pushchair.

Fairy Mountain's Treetop Walk concept adheres to ecological, social, and economic sustainability principles. It covers a wide range of elements, including water, sand, stones, slides, rocks, beams, etc., allowing children to gain a deeper understanding of nature, and gradually develop an awareness of protecting it.

Treetop Walk is a comprehensive interactive forest sports and nature education camp that integrates ecological science, nature education, sports, cultural performance, modern agriculture, and vacation to exercise children's sensory development, improve their emotional intelligence, and develop their lateral thinking ability. Taking advantage of the golden education period of children between the ages of 3-12, Treetop Walk incorporates scientific and practical methods to introduce children to nature, with the backdrop of the natural environment.
