Chongqing- On August 4, the "Global Sleepless Night · Cloud Yuzhong" midsummer culture travel and consumption season kicked off.

The night economy is essential in various cultural and tourism consumption projects. Chongqing's night culture and tourism projects gradually lead China's tourism industry. Hongyadong is internationally renowned for its night scenery, and the Eye on the Cloud, Raffles, Eighteen Steps, Testbed 2, and Baixiang street shine brightly at night, highlighting the grand "8D magic city".

Accompanied by a melodious folk music performance, the launch ceremony of the midsummer culture travel and consumption season started. A cultural and tourism recommender then took the stage to release the Midsummer Cultural Travel and Consumption Season Guide for the audience.

Through four high-quality cultural tourism and consumption scenes, including nighttime performance venues, restaurants, entertainment, and hotels, the guide invites residents to experience Yuzhong's style of mountain city, the charm of the river city, and the history of the mother city, and the fashion of its night. By following the guide, residents and tourists can have a great time in the sleepless Yuzhong District during midsummer.

This event aims to take advantage of the unique charm of Yuzhong Mountain City, River City, and Night City to strengthen the "night economy" and promote culture and tourism. Yuzhong District would take advantage of this midsummer culture travel and consumption season as an opportunity to cater to night tourism and consumption trends. In addition, the event can highlight the unique resource endowment and distinctive city image of  Yuzhong District through night shopping, night entertainment, night sightseeing, night health, and night taste.
