Boosting Training of Football Players Through Smart Technology Skills.lab

Chongqing- In the Austrian area of this year's Smart China Expo, skills.lab demonstrated an intelligent football training platform.

The Skills.lab program aims to ensure data-driven and quantifiable football training through world-leading measurement technology and the German youth training system. Meanwhile, it creates an immersive training experience and generates data reports that can be analyzed and applied quickly and easily.

This is to significantly enhance the skill level of players, improve their sports performance level, and digitalize their player databases.

Skills.lab has tailored three training systems, including skills, depending on different training needs.lab Arena, skills.lab Studio and skills.lab Cube.

A 320 m2 skills.lab Arena provides a data-driven and immersive training experience, serving as the world's leading interactive training facility for football players of all ages and abilities. Inside the Arena, groundbreaking data-driven assessment is combined with the captivating emotion of football.

SkillLab Studio offers an entirely immersive cognitive training experience that upgrades athletes' situational awareness on the pitch through a unique and gamified training experience. With its 360°-curved screen and easy-to-use handheld controllers, athletes interact with interactive exercises on the device.

The skills.lab Cube provides entertaining football skill games in an interactive 360° environment, including fun and challenging games focusing on first touch, ball control, passing accuracy, and overview. Football fans can prove their technical skills and compete for the top spots during the game.

skills.lab, founded in 2016, was designed and developed by Anton Paar, an international company based in Graz, Austria, which has been developing and manufacturing groundbreaking measuring instruments for 100 years.

Currently, the primary customer groups of skills.lab in the world include Germany's FC Bayern Munich, TSG Hoffenheim, and FC Ingolstadt, Austria's Sturm Graz and Football Association, Poland's Poznan Lech, and the U.S.'s Copa Comprehensive Football Training Center.
