In this episode, I will show you how easy it is to live in a megacity in China in 2022.

China adopted the health and travel code systems during the pandemic very early. The green codes indicate that I haven’t been in an infected area. This information is in real-time and helps save lives.

In Western countries, we have ride-hailing services, but China does it differently, providing more information about the driver, including vaccination records. In the application, you are also given a choice of vehicle you can ride-share. You can delay payment to the driver if you don’t have enough money or if there’s an emergency, and the app has credit for one free ride.

The booth outside of my house is a storage compartment for packages. When a courier drops off a package, they give you a number on your phone; you need to input the number, the door will open, and you can take your package.

You can do everything in China with a QR code – massage chairs, battery banks, rental bikes, electric vehicle charging stations, and so on.
