Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications (CQUPT) will host advanced workshops on cross-border e-commerce and postal express delivery service, as well as new generation information and communication technology from October to November 2022.

Foreign technical experts and high-level management personnel from foreign countries engaged in the communication industry are welcome to sign up for participation.

The Advanced Skills Workshop on New Generation Information and Communication Technology in Countries along the Belt and Road involves introductory courses in information and communication technology, key technologies and applications of 5G satellite communication, wireless communication technology and evolution, advanced communication principles and design, microprocessor structure and embedded system design, modern digital signal processing and application, and DICT (Department of Information Communications) product innovation and operation management.

Practical teaching is carried out by relying on the platform of the National Virtual Simulation Experiment Center of the school of Modern Posts through the "Satellite Communication Networking Virtual Simulation Experiment System Covering Designated Areas" and "Computer Network Virtual Simulation System."

Special lectures and online seminars will see experts, scholars, and relevant business people analyze and prospect key communication technologies, cutting-edge technologies, and their application scenarios.

The Advanced Workshop on Cooperation between Cross-border E-commerce and Postal Express Delivery Service in Countries along the China-Europe Freight Trains encourages middle and senior managers from foreign postal administrations, postal companies, express companies, cross-border e-commerce companies, and academic institutions to attend.

Specifically, its teaching content includes the development history and contemporary advanced technology of the postal and express industry, the management knowledge of the postal and express industry, the Belt and Road Initiative, and the immersion experience of Chinese culture.

From the perspective of industrialization, the seminars will allow the practical application of cross-border e-commerce and international postal express industry, industrial internet of Things, and information and communication technology in different fields to be taught in an all-around way.

In both theoretical and practical teaching, the seminars take the form of free online education for 30 days. After the seminar, participants will receive a certificate of completion from the CQUPT.

CQUPT is one of the key post and telecommunications universities established and constructed by China. The school has cultivated and delivered more than 140,000 talents to the information and communication industry. It is known as the "Birthplace of Digital Communication in China."
