Chongqing - To greet the convocation of the 20th national congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the achievement exhibition with the theme of "Forging Ahead in the New Era" opened at the Beijing Exhibition Center on September 27. The exhibition consists of six sections, presenting the fruits of central and local development through displays and interactions, both indoors and outdoors. Over 6,000 exhibition elements covered an area of more than 30,000 square meters, vividly sharing China stories interspersed with Chongqing elements.

"A total of 38 Chongqing-related materials are displayed in the central comprehensive exhibition area, including 32 pictures, five sets of physical models, and one set of outdoor large-scale models," said the relevant person in charge of the exhibition.

In the "China-built super high-rise building collection model" area, the towering model of Chongqing Land-Sea International Center was particularly outstanding. Apart from that, another two models on display were Shanghai Tower and Ping An International Financial Center in Shenzhen.

The Land-Sea International Center is not only the tallest building in Chongqing that has been capped but also the first super high-rise project of more than 450 meters in western China. With a new height of 458 meters, the topped-out Land-Sea International Center ranks 18th in the world in terms of the height of completed and topped buildings, refreshing the city skyline of Chongqing and even western China.

Present high-quality life in Chongqing

Inside the exhibition area, a photo of Chongqing citizens using digital RMB in the Guanyinqiao business district is eye-catching in the "Economic Construction" section of the first unit. In the photo, a consumer spent 15,141 yuan on the digital RMB settlement with his smartphone. This is also the practice of Chongqing, where the digital economy continues to enrich the consumer payment experience, and the digital renminbi pilot continues to deepen.

In the fourth unit, "Governing the country by law," the reporter found a familiar face - the model of the times, Ma Shanxiang, the head of the "Mr. Ma Studio"  in Guanyinqiao Street, Jiangbei District.

In April 2019, the "Mr. Ma Studio," named after Ma Shanxiang, a National People's Congress representative, was established in the Chongqing Court Litigation Service Center. In the picture, Ma is mediating conflicts and disputes through video.

In recent years, Chongqing has valued the non-litigation dispute resolution mechanism, providing people with various options for resolving disputes, and promoting better, earlier and faster resolution.  The studio is a microcosm of Chongqing's multiple measures to build a new pattern of litigation source governance.

Chongqing technology section

The "Impression of Mountainous City" exhibition is built on a column in the exhibition hall, which is also the most eye-catching location in the Chongqing unit.

In "Impression of Mountainous City," the visual image of "mountain, water, building and bridge," which is rich in Chongqing characteristics, has been integrated into it. The city's appearance shows the image of a modern metropolis with internationalization, greenness, intelligence, and human culture.

There is also an ingenious design below the main shape of "Impression of Mountainous City" - the five-line notation of "Song of the Yangtze River" is transformed into a curved strip shape in the style of rivers.

"We put 29 water samples collected from the Chongqing section of the mainstream of the Yangtze River into 29 test tubes to form these notes," said Zhou Xiaobo, a member of the design expert group of the Chongqing Exhibition Office. Chongqing is the last pass of the ecological barrier in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. It is hoped to show Chongqing's vivid practice of building an important ecological barrier in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River in such an artistic way.

All the exhibition items in the Chongqing section want to present such a picture: the people's sense of gain, happiness, and security has been significantly enhanced.
