Chongqing- The 2022 World Cup has come to an end in Qatar, and Chinese fans look forward to seeing exciting sporting events locally and inviting fans from around the world. 5000 kilometers away from Qatar, Chongqing, China, a new stadium is about to be completed, and the power of Chinese infrastructure is about to bring a refreshing experience to the world.

 

Located in the Liangjiang New Area in Chongqing, Longxing Football Stadium serves as the first professional football stadium built in Chongqing and is one of China's largest professional football stadiums. 

With a total construction area of about 170,000 square meters and a lawn area of 7,700 square meters, the Longxing Football Stadium covers approximately 202,000 square meters. 

A retractable movable stand system designed for the stadium can accommodate 60,000 spectators. Normally, seats can be folded under a stand and stretched out when needed for events, adding more than 3,000 seats to the auditorium with a 1,400-square-meter stand.

Four stadium floors are above ground level, while one is below. The stadium also features other facilities, such as a training ground and a parking lot for 2,000 cars.

The stadium is located near several stations on Line 4 of the Chongqing Rail Transit, so it is easy for citizens to get here by car or rail.

As of April 24, 2020, construction of the Longxing Football Stadium has begun. Construction of the main structure officially started on November 13, 2020. Recently, the indoor and outdoor decoration of the stadium has been completed, as well as the landscape construction, reaching the conditions of delivery.
