Chongqing - Jinfeng Software Park, officially opened in Western (Chongqing) Science City on December 31, was home to 13 enterprises with a deal worth up to 6.9 billion yuan (about USD 1 billion).

In order to accelerate the development of the software industry in Western (Chongqing) Science City, Jinfeng Software Park builds an industrial system with a particular emphasis on automotive software, artificial intelligence, industrial software, and information application innovation software, featuring IC design, digital cultural creativity, digital construction, and digital finance. 

The park consists of leading enterprises, such as China Electronics Digital Economy Industrial Park, ZGC Zhiku, and Kingdee Software. So far, there are 904 software enterprises in Western (Chongqing) Science City.

The signed projects cover automotive software, artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, and other areas, according to the manager of the Investment Promotion Company in Chongqing Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone. 

CISDI Chongqing Information Technology Co., Ltd., a leading enterprise in the software industry, settled in the Western (Chongqing) Science City. At the signing ceremony, a total of five upstream and downstream affiliated enterprises of CISDI signed contracts, with a total project amount of one billion yuan.

"We hire 200 to 300 high-level talents domestically and abroad every year," said Li Zhi, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of CISDI Information Technology Co., Ltd. "We have also hired Professor Zhang Chengqi, Vice President of the University of Technology Sydney, as our advisor."

According to Li Zehua, Deputy General Manager of Kingdee Software (China) Co., Ltd., the company has more than 6.8 million corporate customers worldwide and nearly 30,000 in Chongqing. This company settled in Jinfeng Software Park because of its superior geographical environment, pleasant working atmosphere, and strong government support.

Western (Chongqing) Science City strives to achieve a software business income of 80 billion yuan, 2,000 software enterprises, and 60,000 software employees by 2025, building a new growth pole for the city's software industry.
