The Guardians of Immovable Cultural Relics in Chongqing

Chongqing - Chongqing is home to nearly 26,000 immovable cultural relics, including ancient buildings, old streets, and other historical and cultural relics.

They are of great historical, artistic, and scientific value. However, unlike well-preserved movable cultural relics in museums, they are vulnerable to natural erosion and human activities, which might result in irreversible damage.

Fortunately, in Chongqing, there is a group of guardians. The Chongqing Cultural Relics Protection Volunteer Association has adopted various methods to protect immovable cultural relics and tell the stories behind them.
