Chongqing- Four cargo trains departed from Southwest China's Chongqing Tuanjie Village Station on January 28, heading for European countries via China Railway Express (Yuxinou).

Carrying electronic products, smart home appliances, daily necessities, and other goods, the trains will leave the country via Alashankou, Horgos, and Manzhouli ports.

The Yuxinou (Chongqing-Xinjiang-Europe) railway is one of Chongqing's earliest and most important infrastructure projects, the significant international logistics hub in China's inland cities. 

During the 2023 Spring Festival, Yuxinou shipped 50 international import and export trains via China-Europe and China-Vietnam railways, transporting 60,000 tons of products such as smart terminals, smart home appliances, automobiles, spare parts, daily necessities, and high-end manufacturing. 

While in 2022, the China Railway Express (Yuxinou) operated more than 5,000 trains throughout the year, ranking first in the country. 

With destinations covering Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Belarus, Vietnam, and many other Eurasian countries, the trains provided a convenient and stable supply chain support for local enterprises to go abroad and introduce high-end products to the world.

Recently, China released its first national five-year plan on modern logistics to accelerate building a modern logistics system and promote high-quality development, according to the General Office of the State Council.

The plan pointed to accelerating the construction of the China Railway Express assembly center and promoting the efficient connection of transportation organization methods as primary tasks. 

The China Railway Express (Yuxinou) has formed a multi-point international intermodal transport network with nearly 50 stable operating lines, radiating over 100 cities in about 40 countries abroad, 59 railway stations, and 29 ports at home, with over 30 cities and regions across the country. 

Nowadays, the network of Yuxinou has covered the entire Eurasian continent, becoming a crucial channel for Chongqing to go abroad and to connect countries along the Belt and Road. 

Relying on the Yuxinou corridor, Chongqing has gradually formed an industrial cluster and brought out multiple open ports like automobiles, medicine, and an international mail center, accumulating foreign investment exceeding 100 billion U.S. dollars. 

Next, Yuxinou will further optimize the logistics and transportation organization and strengthen the supply chain service of the industrial chain, aiming to build a modern logistics system for the high-quality development of an open economy.
