- Monday's devastating earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria have concerned everyone, especially Turks far from their homeland. On Feb.8, iChongqing interviewed Mr. Aykut Yazirli, a businessman from Turkey who has lived in Chongqing for 11 years. In the interview, he said he had barely 
slept after the deadly earthquakes. He and his Turkish and Chinese friends were busy helping with the rescue work in Turkey from China. During the interview, he also mentioned the earthquake-hit areas in Turkey, shared his gratitude toward China's assistance, and appealed to people, regardless of nationality and religion, to help each other fight against natural disasters.
