Chongqing- The Chongqing Yuelai Investment Group announced a cooperation agreement with Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP), becoming a global partner of French Ligue 1 for the youth sports program.

LFP as a French governing body runs the foremost professional football leagues in France and is responsible for overseeing, organizing, and managing the top two leagues in France, Ligue 1 and Ligue 2, and the cup competition, the Coupe de la Ligue.

LFP set up its first office in China in February 2017, devoted to bringing the world's top football games to the Chinese audience.

Yuelai Investment Group keeps concentrating on the combination development of exhibitions and sports, establishing the first national sports and education combination center, YUE Sports.

YUE Sports, located in Chongqing Liangjiang New Area, has eight sports events, including football, track and field, fencing, basketball, badminton, table tennis, volleyball, and swimming.

Both sides agreed to set up a Ligue 1 youth training center in YUE Sports. The cooperation covers coach training and jointly developing football training courses exclusive for Chinese youth.

On top of the training, both sides will drive the football exchange between China and France. LFP will organize Chinese youth trainees for summer camps in France. And Yue Investment Group will organize the Ligue 1 fan club and the game-watching salon in China.    

As introduced by Wang Jumeng, the board chairman of Chongqing Yuelai Investment Group, the visit to LFP is for learning and cooperation. She hopes each side brings its superiority into full play, deepens international exchange and collaboration, strengthens the combination mode of exhibition+sport education, and improves the operation capability of football training and games.

"LFP youth training system enjoys a high reputation around the world, which is in line with the philosophy of YUE Sports for combining sports with education," said Mathieu Ficot, the chief operating officer of LFP. He added, "China is the key area for LFP expanding overseas market. We have a bright future through cooperating with Yuelai."
