This is the fifth edition of the iArt Youth Art Program since its launch in 2018. In 2022, the iArt project suspended submissions, and two independent curators, Guo Xiaohui and Gao Yi were invited to curate the exhibition with the theme of "Constellation."

The exhibition features some artists who have previously participated in the project, as well as active artists from China and Europe, forming a group exhibition.

The exhibition not only provides an opportunity for self-examination and reflection for the organizers but also aims to promote the feasibility of other knowledge production.

During the opening ceremony, Xue Wei, the director of the Yuan·Art Museum, said that the iArt project continues to grow openly and vigorously in its fifth edition and has also attracted many young and active young people who are thoughtful, talented, and persistent. The participating artists, described as travelers, are like planets moving freely in their orbits, generating energy and magnetic fields and interacting with and reflecting each other.

Curator Guo Xiaohui expressed her pleasure in being invited by Yuan·Art Museum to participate in the iArt project and to discuss issues such as the Anthropocene, climate and environmental crisis, and digital industrialization with domestic and foreign artists. The works aim to inspire and encourage more thinking among the audience.

As an artist representative, Xu Yibo shared that he witnessed the support and dedication of the Yuan·Art Museum team and curators to this project along the way. He expressed his pleasure in participating in the iArt project again in 2023 with many previous artist friends to conduct a phased review and summary.

The iArt Youth Art Project is a brand exhibition project of the Yuan·Art Museum. It collects works from young artists worldwide every year and invites professionals in the industry to serve as curators and judges. The shortlisted works of art will be exhibited in art museums to promote the development and sustainable growth of artists in professional fields and cross-border art. Since launching the iArt Youth Art Project, Yuan·Art Museum has always focused on supporting and serving young artists, striving to play the role of explorers, supporters, and inheritors in contemporary art.

Xue Wei said that this exhibition provided an opportunity for more people to enter the art museum to experience the power of youth art, build a high-quality platform for sustainable growth, and continue to pay attention to and help youth art flourish.

The exhibition will be exhibited at Yuan·Art Museum until May 5. In addition to presenting the works of 27 outstanding young artists, more exhibitions and concurrent activities will be carried out successively during the exhibition period.
