Exclusive Interview: Looking to ASEAN with A growth mindset

Chongqing - ASEAN has been Chongqing's largest trading partner for three consecutive years, accounting for nearly 20% of Chongqing's total import and export volume. Meanwhile, ASEAN countries are the main service area of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor. How will China-ASEAN relations evolve in 2023 after the COVID-19 pandemic ends? How can ASEAN and Chongqing continue to deepen cooperation? To answer these questions and more, we've invited Liang Yan, endowed chair, professor of the economics department at Willamette University, and expert on the Chinese and Southeast Asia economy, to share her insights on the China-ASEAN dynamic.
