Chongqing -  Three Lists of cultural tourism in Dazu District, home to the only world cultural heritage site in Chongqing, were released on March 10th to encourage and guide more social forces and social capital for the development of the local culture and tourism industry.

Three Lists of cultural tourism in the Dazu District included cultural tourism industry development policies, a list of cultural tourism industry investment opportunities, and a list of cultural tourism facility construction projects. 

The government of Dazu District is expected to invest 100 million yuan in support of the Dazu cultural and tourism industry development from four aspects: cultural and tourism brand creation, tourism factor supply, cultural and creative industry development, and cultural and artistic inheritance.

Zhang Jun, chairman of Dazu District Cultural Tourism Group, released the 2023 marketing reward plan, offering multi-dimensional rewards to travel agencies and tour groups to drive more tourists to Dazu for sightseeing.

In addition, the Dazu Rock Carvings Cultural and Creative Park signed a cooperation agreement with investors to contribute to the future development of cultural tourism in the Dazu District.

The Dazu Rock Carvings, as the only world cultural heritage site in Chongqing, serve as a foundation for inheriting Tang and Song aesthetics. The Sichuan Fine Arts Institute supplies talent, while the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle provides convenience for business cooperation and exchanges. The development policies supported by the Dazu District Government have strengthened confidence in enterprise development.

The 2023 Dazu District Travel Business Conference and Cultural Tourism Investment Promotion Conference was successfully hosted by the Dazu District People's Government of Chongqing. Its eleventh edition was opened with the theme "Exquisite Stone Carvings Can Talk - Telling Chinese Stories and Spreading Chinese Voices." One of the festival's main activities is the Dazu District Travel Business Conference and Cultural Tourism Investment Promotion Conference, which takes investment promotion as the starting point to implement and effectively promote cultural and tourism projects in the Dazu District.
