Chongqing -The Second Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle Global Investment Promotion Conference officially began in Shenzhen on April 26. Officials and business representatives delivered key addresses to introduce opportunities across multiple fields, announce the release of ten new policy measures to promote regional investment and expand the economic circle's sphere of influence.

Sichuan and Chongqing in Southwest China now hold the Global Investment Promotion Conference as an annual event on the business calendar. They can jointly explore new areas for international and domestic cooperation, emphasize their unique advantages in innovation and development, and establish a unified Sichuan-Chongqing brand.

Specifically, the policies advocate for increased synergy with local prefectures, enhanced support for pilot industrial parks, showcasing achievements for demonstration purposes, and introducing an innovative publicity matrix.

The six key industries jointly promoted by Chongqing and Sichuan at the conference include new energy vehicles, technological innovation, biomedicine, high-end equipment, new materials, and information technology. The joint conference and ten measures aim to effectively foster a robust business environment, generating an investment dividend at the trillion-yuan level.
