Chongqing-The 3rd Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for Global Youth Talents concluded its final round on May 11 at Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications (CQUPT). It showcased 20 ingenious projects, all developed by international students.

The competition's is designed to foster innovation and entrepreneurship and help to transform these innovative ideas into viable projects. By attracting talented individuals, it sought to cultivate a vibrant community of innovators and entrepreneurs within the region.

The competition showcases projects that encompass strategic emerging sectors, including biomedicine, artificial intelligence, and the digital economy. It also features innovative entrepreneurial endeavors focused on energy conservation, emission reduction, and rural revitalization, all of which offer tangible benefits to everyday life.

One noteworthy project, the agricultural technology broker platform, bridges the gap between agritech companies, producers, and consumers to stimulate rural rejuvenation. Crafted by international students from Chongqing University, this project illustrates the immense potential for future growth.

Another promising project, an intelligent fault detection solution for wind turbines, was proposed by a team of international students from CQUPT. The solution monitors wind turbines in real-time through acoustic surveillance and promises to cut maintenance costs and enhance turbine efficiency significantly.

Following a rigorous pitch and defense session, the "Chinese Science Fiction Immersive Theatre Development" project, presented by a team of international students from Sichuan University, was awarded the highest score. This project epitomizes the students' creativity and innovation, demonstrating their potential to drive the growth of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle.
