Chongqing - The 31st FISU World University Games' Cultural Showcase Activity sprung to life on July 28 and will continue to delight attendees until August 8 in Chengdu. Through hands-on experiences such as clay sculpting and the dramatic face-changing of Sichuan opera, the participants will enjoy a unique blend of sportsmanship and Chinese civilization and immerse themselves in the vibrant sports culture and stories of Chengdu.

At the "Experience Chinese Civilization" zone, an array of vibrant exhibitions and interactive experiences reveal the ancient history and thriving culture of Chengdu, immersing the audience in the electric atmosphere of the 31st FISU World University Games and the city's vitality.
The "Exploring the Joy of China" area showcases various cultural facets, including paper-cutting, shadow puppets, and movable character printing. Notably, Yuan Chengxiang, a top-tier paper-cutting artist from Sichuan Province, graced the event using paper and scissors to create a delightful "Sports Rongbao." His display lets guests experience the paper-cutting culture's simple yet sophisticated charm.

From hosting the World Table Tennis Team Championships to the 31st FISU World University Games, Chengdu remains a beacon for large-scale international sporting events.
