In the early hours of July 2nd, at 5:30 a.m., pilot He Hao was already at the Sichuan Airlines Chongqing Branch aircrew office, diligently preparing for his upcoming flight. The clock ticked, marking the countdown to flight 3U8307 bound for Shenyang, scheduled to depart at 7:15 a.m. and touch down at 10:20 a.m.

Meanwhile, his wife, Wang Yanan, a dedicated member of the ground service department, was stationed at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport Terminal 2.
At 10:10 a.m., after a safe landing at Shenyang Xian Tao Airport, He Hao promptly messaged his wife, Wang Yanan. Her face brightened with a smile as she read his message, quickly returning to her bustling duties. Amidst the onset of the summer travel rush, her schedule was packed with responsibilities.
Wang Yanan began her journey as a flight attendant with Sichuan Airlines in 2010. She was passionate about her work and extended meticulous care and thoughtfulness to each passenger. Her exemplary performance earned her a spot in the first-class cabin within a year, making her the first of her batch to achieve this feat. Meanwhile, He Hao had already risen to the position of captain within Sichuan Airlines.
Their paths crossed at an altitude of 10,000 meters during a Chongqing-Sanya flight. Working together, their synergy and understanding blossomed. Wang Yanan, characterized by her gentleness and kindness, effortlessly captured He Hao's heart. However, their demanding schedules and frequent separations meant their relationship took root only in 2012.
In December 2015, the couple exchanged their vows. The weighty responsibilities of their aviation careers and regular international flights often kept them apart for weeks, if not months, making even the prospect of celebrating the Spring Festival together a distant dream.
"Because flight schedules remain unpredictable, sometimes he departs just as I arrive," Wang Yanan explained. To find an equilibrium between their professional commitments and personal lives, she transitioned from an aircrew position to ground service. Today, they are parents to a five-year-old daughter.

In Wang's eyes, He Hao embodies a person wholly dedicated to his flight duties and deeply reverent toward safety. His unblemished track record over his 16-year flying career has earned him the admiration of colleagues and peers.
Following the birth of their child, He Hao frequently missed out on his daughter's school activities—an aspect he regrets but without any trace of complaint. "As an aviation professional, ensuring the safety of thousands of passengers is my foremost priority," He Hao emphasized. Throughout the years, he expressed gratitude for his wife's unwavering support as they navigated life's intricate balance together. Serving as both partners in life and colleagues, they share an unspoken understanding of each other's sacrifices and responsibilities, forming a foundation of mutual support.
In their present roles—one taking to the skies and the other working the ground—though their positions diverge, their shared dedication and unwavering commitment to their careers remain resolute.
