Chongqing - The 2023 China-CELAC Digital Technology Cooperation Forum will open on September 4th in Southwest China's Chongqing.

The forum, themed Seizing New Opportunities from the Digital Technology and Stimulating New Momentum for China-CELAC Cooperation, sets up several sessions, such as an opening ceremony, initiative releases, keynote reports, and keynote speeches.
Encompassing a range of topics, including the construction of digital infrastructure, digital technology applications, development of digital transformation, and international cooperation and exchange, the event will host thematic seminars, launch cooperative initiatives, and highlight accomplishments in digital technology.
Moreover, a series of workshops will be organized. The overarching goal of the forum is to create a pragmatic exchange platform for government, industry, academia, and research between China and the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, exploring innovative pathways and models of digital technology collaboration.
Simultaneously, the forum plans to feature the Bayu Night Forum, an enterprise exchange event. Participating guests are invited to investigate digital technology enterprises and demonstration platforms in fields such as Chongqing industrial Internet and smart factories during this segment. This endeavor aims to uncover new prospects for practical collaboration and thereby elevate economic and trade cooperation between China and the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean to a new height.
This forum is poised to assist Chongqing in establishing a pioneer of opening up in inland China, fostering comprehensive open development, and enhancing exchanges and cooperation between Chongqing and Latin America and the Caribbean.
Apart from this, the event is highly rated to actively promote the advancement of friendly exchanges between Chongqing and Latin America, augmenting the upgrading and refinement of digital technology cooperation. By doing so, the quality and efficacy of this partnership will be bolstered, enriching the essence of the China-Latin America community of shared future and making a significant difference in elevating economic cooperation and high-quality development between Chongqing and the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean.
The forum is sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Chongqing Municipal People's Government, co-hosted by the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal People's Government, Chongqing Economic and Information Technology Commission, Yuzhong District People's Government, and the China Academy of Information and Communication Research (CAICR), also with the collaboration of the CAICR Western Branch (Chongqing Institute of Information and Communication Research).
