Chongqing- Preparations for the Smart China Expo (SCE) 2023 grand opening are in full swing, said Luo Li, Deputy Director of the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology and the SCE Organizer Office on August 31. Set to kick off in just four days, the Expo promises a stellar amalgamation of technology, innovation, and industry-led leadership.

This year, the Expo centers on the theme of "Intelligent Connected New Energy Vehicles" and Digital China. Attendees can expect diverse activities, from meetings and exhibitions to insightful discussions, competitions, and product releases.

Gathering of tech behemoths and academicians 

Top scholars like Li Keqiang and Wang Jian, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and global industry leaders from giants like STMicroelectronics, Dassault Systèmes, and Ford will provide opinions and share their rich experiences related to the event's theme.

In a pioneering move, the Expo will host a high-end dialogue session. Here, senior executives from tech behemoths like Microsoft, IBM, Tencent, and more will delve into AI models' commercial applications and industry growth concerning intelligent networks. 

Visitors can anticipate a dazzling showcase of almost 3,000 innovations from over 480 major industry players, including Huawei, China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, Seres, and Changan.

Unveiling the behind-the-scenes magic of NEV

While many marvel at the sight of speeding new energy vehicles (NEVs), this Expo offers a rare chance to explore the intricate world inside these vehicles. Exhibitors will unpack the current developments in NEVs, explaining different technological paths and demystifying components from various manufacturers. 

With hundreds of industry pioneers gearing up for the event, over 500 leading enterprises ready to dazzle, and nearly 40 action-packed activities, attendees will also get a chance to immerse themselves in hands-on experiences such as intelligent driving simulations and interactive car experiences.

The Expo's management has planned visitor days, with September 4 dedicated to industry professionals and September 5-6 open to the general public.
