Chongqing - The 2023 Smart China Expo (SCE 2023) concluded on Wednesday, with over 2,000 advanced technologies, innovative products, and high-tech achievements unveiled, according to the press conference on September 6.
The expo was graced by the presence of 320 authoritative domestic and international experts, scholars, and industry captains. They were actively engaged in high-end dialogues, opening ceremonies, summit forums, and other significant events.
Five hundred nine companies, both domestic and from overseas, had the opportunity to showcase their frontier innovations, leading-edge technology products, and fresh solutions.
The expo conducted 19 professional forums and five top-tier competitions and released 11 notable achievements, providing a comprehensive perspective on industry trends to showcase the robust capabilities of the smart industry.
Focusing on annual topics including Intelligent Connected New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) and Digital China, the expo introduced over 850 intelligent application scenarios, including intelligent vehicle-road collaboration, the cloud-driven intelligent factory, etc.
Jiang Duntao, vice mayor of Chongqing Municipal People's Government, said that the expo had constructed a platform to promote global exchanges in the digital economy and intelligent sectors, expanding the circle of international collaborations.
Throughout the event, 47 experts, scholars, and chiefs of renowned foreign entities, including giants like Ford Motor and STMicroelectronics, made their mark. Almost 80 companies spanning nations like Singapore, Italy, and South Korea attended.
The regional cooperation exhibition area focused on the development achievements of countries and regions along the New International Land-sea Trade Corridor (ILSTC) and international sister cities in the digital economy sector.
On the global collaboration front, the China-CELAC Digital Technology Cooperation Forum was convened, opening doors for the international community to delve into the opportunities provided by Chongqing.
So far, the expo has witnessed over 200,000 visitors, including nearly 90,000 professional attendees in key sectors of the smart industry, new energy vehicles, and the digital economy.
