Chongqing- This year's Chongqing Mayor's International Economic Advisory Council (CMIA) meeting is expected to facilitate increased interactions between consultant enterprises and Chongqing's districts and counties to attract further investments and collaborations.

Leading corporations, including SK Group and HP Inc., align with the Western (Chongqing) Science City in Chongqing's High-tech Zone, an emerging and nationally recognized scientific and technological innovation hub. This collaboration is intended to strengthen their existing business ties. Meanwhile, the US tech titan Qualcomm plans to partner with the Yubei District, tapping into its prowess in electronic information manufacturing.

Moreover, Ford is keen to enhance its ties with Liangjiang New Area, China's national development and reform zone, which houses Ford's most substantial production facility in China. Ford's commitment to Chongqing dates back years.

In 2001, Ford Motor partnered with Changan Automobile to launch Changan Ford Chongqing Automobile Co., Ltd. This venture encompasses design, manufacturing, sales, and subsequent after-sales services. Notably, after Michigan, Chongqing has evolved into Ford's premier global production hub.

The Liangjiang New Area Modern Service Industry Bureau expressed ambitions to extend its outreach to foster connections with more international companies via the CMIA platform.

Districts such as Jiulongpo, Banan, and Yongchuan are actively seeking collaboration with advisory enterprises. To optimize potential alliances, the Secretariat of the 17th Annual CMIA Meeting routinely seeks insights into the "target sectors" advisory enterprises are keen on before they visit Chongqing.

The Secretariat views districts, counties, and development zones as the linchpins of Chongqing's economic growth and societal progress. Encouraging direct liaisons between these areas and advisory firms will inevitably promote mutual comprehension and trust and spur new investment in Chongqing.

Discussing its strategic advantages, the Yuzhong District Committee of Commerce highlighted key initiatives, including the Pilot Free Trade Zone and the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Project on Strategic Connectivity (CCI). They believe the CMIA gathering will offer advisory groups a window into Chongqing and Yuzhong's dynamic investment climate, ultimately drawing more investors.

Yuzhong District, the epicenter of Chongqing Municipality, is historically significant as the city's foundation, later blossoming into its political, economic, and entertainment hub.

In its pursuit of global commerce and investment prominence, Yuzhong District is eager to elevate its international trade domain, draw elite foreign trade organizations, and shape a world-class consumer ecosystem.
